Afterschool Community
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern use of the Afterschool Community platform, website, application form, enrollment-routing tools, communication systems, opportunity listings, and related services. By creating an account, submitting an application, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are a parent or legal guardian, you agree on behalf of yourself and the youth applicant or participant.
Platform Role and No Guarantee of Enrollment
Afterschool Community is a centralized search, intake, enrollment-routing, communication, and youth-opportunity clearinghouse used by nonprofit, government, school-based, secular, and faith-based youth-serving organizations. Acceptance into any program, scholarship, event, internship, job, or travel opportunity is controlled by the applicable provider or sponsor.
Required and Optional Communications
Required account, application, selected-program, safety, and legal communications are necessary to use the Platform or participate in selected programs and cannot be fully opted out of while the account or enrollment is active. Optional opportunity messages about scholarships, travel, internships, jobs, and events are preference-managed and can be stopped at any time.
No Wholesale Third-Party Contact Sharing
Afterschool Community does not sell or rent family contact information to sponsors and does not use blanket consent to share contact information with all third parties. Sponsors receive family contact information only when a parent/guardian provides individualized consent for that specific opportunity or referral.
User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.
- Update contact and emergency information when it changes.
- Review opportunity details, costs, risks, and eligibility before participating.
- Use the Platform lawfully and respectfully.
